Newport Coast Swim Team - Home of the Great White Sharks!
Fall Session 1: September 8 – October 1
Fall Session 2: October 6 – October 29
Fall Session 3: November 3 – November 26
Fall Session 4: December 1 – December 29
Practice: Mondays & Wednesdays
Time: 4:00-4:55pm Beginners 5:00-6:00pm Intermediate/Advanced
Fee: $85 per session or $310 for all four sessions
All residents between the age of 5 and 18 years of age are eligible to participate. Additionally, there is an expectation for all enrolled swimmers to be able to swim one pool length uninhibited (25 yards). Any exceptions will be reviewed on a case by case basis and should be discussed with the swim team coaching staff prior to registration.
Team Registration forms are available at the Newport Coast Community Association Pool located at 6700 Ridge Park Road, Newport Coast, CA 92657.
All meets for Newport Coast will be dual meets. All home meets will be held at the Newport Coast Community Association Pool located at 6700 Ridge Park Road, Newport Coast, CA 92657. During Home Meets, due to limited parking we encourage families to car pool so that we have enough parking for the guest team.

Effective
Feb. 1, 2008, the Newport Coast Community Association no longer
supplies towels for team activities. Team towels with the team logo may
be purchased for $20.00.
Shark Store
New for 2008, swimmers will be given gold tokens as a reward for good behavior, attendance, staying on task, personal improvement and more. Tokens will be used to purchase prizes, candy and more from our swim team Shark Store. Shark store will be open very other week during Fall Team.
Team Black Box & Email Blast
New for 2008 we have created a team “Black Box” which is a file box where important handouts such as swim meet forms, schedules and other important information will be filed by family last name. The “Black Box” will be available on the pool deck during team practices. It is very important that parents check their families file daily to keep up on important team news and make sure we have a current email address on file.
Parent Volunteer Team Jobs
Parent participation is required for all families on a volunteer basis. There are several functions the team requires that must be met by the parents.
