Jr Lifeguards at Rancho Santa Margarita (SAMLARC)

American Red Cross Guard Start: Jr. Lifeguards is designed to prepare 8 to 14 year olds to take Red Cross Lifeguarding certification programs and for future work as lifeguards. The Guard Start program helps participants build a foundation of knowledge, attitudes and skills that they will need to be responsible lifeguards. Lessons are grouped into five main areas: prevention, fitness, response, leadership and professionalism.



There are no more session available for 2008. The 2009 schedule will be posted in May 2009.

Program Info
Participants must be ages 8-14 yeras old, pool safe & able to swim 25 yards freestyle
All sessions held at Solana Park Pool in Rancho Santa Margarita.
